Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  2. 1.5 to 2 cups of water
  3. Spray bottle

Recipe

  1. Take half a cup of rice in a bowl and add double the amount of water so that the rice is soaked completely beneath
  2. You may also use warm water to quicken the process
  3. After about half an hour, you can see a cloudy water which means, all the starch has come out.
  4. Now, strain the contents using a cheese cloth or a strainer and collect this rice water in a separate container
  5. Your rice water for hair is ready! Transfer this water to a spray bottle and simply spritz it whenever your hair feels dead and lifeless! You can spray this water on your face after cleansing too!

2. Rice Water Recipe 2 by Boiling

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup Uncooked Rice
  2. 2 cups water

Recipe

  1. Boil half a cup of uncooked rice in a pot
  2. Bring it to boil over medium heat such that you see the white starch content in water
  3. Make sure the water doesn’t evaporate.
  4. Strain this water and collect it in a container
  5. You can store this in a spray bottle and spray it whenever your hair feels dull without shine

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Uncooked Rice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 tsp Aloe Vera Gel
  • 1/2 Cup Milk/Coconut Milk
  • Few Drops Jojoba Oil

Instructions
 

  • Take 1/2 cup of uncooked rice to a bowl
  • Soak it in water and leave it overnight
  • Next morning, blend this rice in a food processor.
  • Strain the blended rice paste and collect the rice water in a container
  • Now pour this rice water in a saucepan on low heat.
  • Add a little milk to this
  • Keep stirring till the paste thickens
  • Now pour this rice cream into a container
  • Add few drops of jojoba oil to it
  • Next add 1 tsp of aloe vera gel
  • Mix the contents well. You can store this in a container.

Notes

Shelf life of this rice cream is 5 days.
Use this cream regularly on a cleansed skin. After the cream dries, wash off with water.
